Protein shakes are a quick and easy way to start your day. You don’t need many ingredients to make a great flavoured drink and you can include almost anything your heart desires.
One of my go-to protein shakes is my chocolate-strawberry protein shake. At 160 calories and 15 grams of protein per glass, I find it to be an amazing way to start my day!
I personally like to keep my ingredients simple:
6oz unsweetened chocolate almond milk
1 scoop of Vega chocolate protein powder
10 small organic strawberries
6 spinach/kale leaves
Sprinkle of Skinny B cereal
Blend in Vitamix to chosen consistency. If you want to make your smoothie a bit thicker, you can use frozen organic strawberries or add one or two cubes of ice.
